Green Innovation Network (GIN) is an Agri-Energy Social Enterprise Organization based in Lilongwe, which was incorporated as a Private Limited by Guarantee under the Companies Act, No. 15 of 2013 in 2023. The company is established to provide access to innovations that enhance economic and climate resilience for underprivileged households in Malawi. GIN is affiliated with climate adaptive technologies such as access to clean energy, climate-smart agriculture and agribusinesses, food security, education, and good health and wellbeing for neglected people in remote areas. The idea is to help enforce the vulnerability of ecosystems to climate change effects. GIN aligns its operations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), primarily SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
GIN is dedicated to achieving its vision, which is to create a conducive business model environment where green innovation solutions are accessible to the most needed last mile areas through pay-as-you-go and pay half and take business models.
